Come spend the day in historic Pendleton, SC!  

There is a lot going on so plan your day so you won't miss a thing!

8:00 am - Online Voting for your favorite scarecrow ends and will continue at 10 am at the Fall Harvest Festival with paper ballots.  The totals from the online voting will be added to the ballot voting.   A ballot box will also be prominently displayed at the Fall Festival to collect votes until 2 pm. Winners will be announced at 4 p.m. on October 14 at the Fall Festival stage.

9:00 am - 5:00 pm The inaugural year of "Vintage Pickin’ in Pendleton" will be held in an indoor setting of Clemson Little Theatre located at 214 S. Mechanic St. Vintage vendors from around South Carolina will provide unique and authentic antiques and vintage items that will be available for "pickin." Vintage home goods from all decades and for all styles will be available to "pick." Each vendor was juried and is bringing genuine vintage good and antiques. Come find your one-of-kind pieces. What will YOU do with your vintage finds?

10:00 am - Most business in town will open at 10. Restaurants may not be open until 11.   Enjoy shopping and dining in our quaint shops and restaurants.

10:00 am - 5:00 pm The Fall Harvest Festival around the square with great food, excellent entertainment, wonderful craft and food vendors and old fashioned games for children. Over 100 Vendors, to be exact.
You will also have a chance to vote for your favorite Scarecrow and stick around to find out the 2017 winners!

10:00 am - 3:00 pm The Pendleton Farmers Society is having an Open House from 10 - 3 for visitors to learn about Farmers Hall, the Society, and its 202 year history. No fee will be charged but donations are accepted.

10:00 am - 4:00 pm Pendleton Historic Foundation will have their Ashtabula Historic Home on tour during the day from 10 - 4! Adults: $6 and for ages 5-10 the fee is $2.

7 pm - 9:40 pm Ghost Walk sponsored by Pendleton Historic Foundation.  Tickets are $15 per person and refreshments are included before and after the walk. Fall Harvest Festival in Pendleton, SC

Fun for the Whole Family at the Pendleton Fall Harvest Festival on October 22, 2016 in Historic Pendleton, SC.  The Festival has over 100 vendors and all the slots are filled with delicious food vendors and talented crafters.  The entertainment is always so good and enjoyed by all.  The children will enjoy the Old Fashioned Childrens Games provided by the Pendleton Area Business Council/Clemson Area Chamber of Commerce.

Also, the Pendleton Farmers Society will open the upstairs of the historic Farmers Hall and share its rich history.  During the Festival, the Pendleton Historic Foundation will have tours at Ashtabula Historic Home and then that evening at 7 pm they will have a Ghost Walk around town.  Be sure to check out their website for more information on these two events:

Calling Artists to Apply for the Spring Jubilee Juried Art Show 2016 in Pendleton, SC

The Spring Jubilee is held in historic Pendleton, SC every year on the first full weekend of April.  This year the event will be April 2 and April 3 on Saturday and Sunday.  It is a beautiful festival with so many wonderful artistisans as well as food vendors and entertainment.  There is a $25 application fee and if accepted there is a fee of $150 to reserve your booth space.  Be sure to check out the requirements on this site:  https://www.zapplication.org/event-info.php?ID=4286.  The deadline to apply is December 2, 2015.

Save the Date for Pendleton's Fall Harvest Festival on October 24, 2015

Vendors are starting to call the Pendleton Town Hall wanting to know about the application form and are being told that it is not quite ready but will be ready soon.  It will be posted on the Town Website, the Fall Harvest Festival Website and the Fall Harvest Festival Fan Page on Facebook.  It will also be emailed to all those vendors who have requested it.

I get excited just thinking about this fun family festival.  The vendors are always so wonderful, the food delicious and the entertainment is amazing.  It is a fun time for all ages with the old fashioned childrens games and bouncy toy for the kids.  Oh, and the scarecrows will be all over town for your viewing.  You will not want to miss one of them.

Also there will be a Historic Home Tour on Saturday and Sunday so make plans to do that, too!
