Calling Artists to Apply for the Spring Jubilee Juried Art Show 2016 in Pendleton, SC

The Spring Jubilee is held in historic Pendleton, SC every year on the first full weekend of April.  This year the event will be April 2 and April 3 on Saturday and Sunday.  It is a beautiful festival with so many wonderful artistisans as well as food vendors and entertainment.  There is a $25 application fee and if accepted there is a fee of $150 to reserve your booth space.  Be sure to check out the requirements on this site:  https://www.zapplication.org/event-info.php?ID=4286.  The deadline to apply is December 2, 2015.

Save the Date for Pendleton's Fall Harvest Festival on October 24, 2015

Vendors are starting to call the Pendleton Town Hall wanting to know about the application form and are being told that it is not quite ready but will be ready soon.  It will be posted on the Town Website, the Fall Harvest Festival Website and the Fall Harvest Festival Fan Page on Facebook.  It will also be emailed to all those vendors who have requested it.

I get excited just thinking about this fun family festival.  The vendors are always so wonderful, the food delicious and the entertainment is amazing.  It is a fun time for all ages with the old fashioned childrens games and bouncy toy for the kids.  Oh, and the scarecrows will be all over town for your viewing.  You will not want to miss one of them.

Also there will be a Historic Home Tour on Saturday and Sunday so make plans to do that, too!

Spring Jubilee and More 2015 in Pendleton, SC

Every so often the Spring Jubilee falls on Easter Weekend and that is the case this year.  It is and always has been held on the first full weekend in April.

Looking for a place to park close to the festival?  You can pay $5 and help two great causes and park on the square.  One location is at the corner of Exchange St. and Queen St. and the other location is up on the hill at Hunter's Store Warehouse.

On Saturday April 4, 2015 you can begin your day with a wonderful Spring Breakfast at the Pendleton Community Center.

Be sure to find the booth for S.O.U.P. (Supper On Us, Pendleton!).  S.O.U.P. cooks and delivers meals to people in Pendleton who are shut-in.

 Then you will want to head on over to Tri County Technical College for the Bluegrass Under The Stars from 6 until 10.  Featuring headline entertainment will be presented by Country Music Television (CMT).  Admission is Free!  Unlike previous years, the concert will take place in the parking lot so make sure to bring a chair or blanket (in case of rain, it will be held in the Student Center).  Concession and a food court will be made available and a firework extravaganza will take place at the end of the show.  For more information, please contact Rebecca Eidson at 864-646-1507 or email reidson@tctc.edu.
